First Uk Edition, first printing. Victor Gollancz Ltd., London 1954. 379 pages. Red boards with gilt lettering and a yellow dustwrapper.

Daphne du Maurier's novel 'Mary Anne' is a fictionalised account of the real-life story of her great-great-grandmother, Mary Anne Clarke, née Thompson (1776-1852).

Book is very good+ with mild dusting/browning to the textblock edges. Pages are bright and clean except one mild stripe of tanning on the fly leaf at the end of the book.

Dustwrapper is very good with miniscule tanning to spine and some mild signs of shelfwear. Some very small chip losses to corners of the flaps and one small closed tear and miniscule creasing on the bottom of the back pannel. Unclipped with original price of 12/6net to front flap.
